Beirne and Strickland’s Roles, Elaborated

Beirne has nearly three decades of experience working in the horse racing business. He is knowledgeable with racecourse operations, management, education, and regulation. He was most recently the horse industry program director at the Louisville Business School.

In addition, he served as the chair and vice-chair of the Colorado State Racing Commission for a total of five years. In his new role as US commercial manager at SIS, he will be responsible for establishing long-term partnerships with US sportsbooks and marketing the company’s live betting material.

Additionally, he will be entrusted with negotiating rules to ensure the safe distribution of SIS goods and supporting the efforts of the US division in distributing horse racing information.

However, Strickland has extensive expertise with operational, compliance, and legal roles in regulated markets. She worked nine years as a senior paralegal and contract manager at Sportech prior to joining SIS. Her new position as regulatory and commercial affairs manager at SIS will be accompanied by a slew of new duties.

Strickland will be responsible for managing and maintaining many tasks in the United States division, including licensing, reporting, and compliance. Her primary role will be maintaining internal business policies and regulatory compliance in a variety of regulated marketplaces.

SIS Content Services Executives Welcoming New Appointments

Richard Ames, CEO of SIS and president of SIS Content Services, said that the US industry has a great deal of promise because of the quick changes in regulating online gambling.

Ames noted that the two new hires would enhance the organization and expand its footprint in the U.S. market. He concluded by stating that Strickland and Beirne possess a great deal of knowledge and skill, and that their contributions would be advantageous to both SIS Content Services and its US partners.

The vice president of SIS Content Services, Michele Fischer, also commented on the appointments. She noted that the organization is certain that the United States will see significant growth, particularly in the horse racing and esports betting industries.

This is why SIS Content Services is attempting to profit on the trends, which the two campaigns provide. Fischer concluded by stating that she had worked with Strickland and Beirne and that her experience with them led her to think they will have an “instant influence on the SIS team.”
