Harrah's New Orleans

Contributing to Renovation of Gambling Facility

The pair will contribute to the ongoing $325 million renovation of the gambling facility, which together with Horseshoe Bossier City Hotel & Casino launched the company’s venture into sports betting in Louisiana, into Caesars New Orleans.

The 5700-square-foot sportsbook is equipped with four betting windows, 12 self-service betting kiosks, and a 147-foot TV screen. In addition to seating for 140 clients, the sportsbook will offer a multi-display Fan Cave with private viewing for up to 10 individuals, as well as a bar with space for 28 additional sports enthusiasts.

The sportsbook will be next to Louisiana’s biggest poker room, a 5,000-square-foot area with 20 poker tables and complementary tableside refreshments. Caesars is also refurbishing its Lake Charles resort, which it claims will shortly reopen as Horseshoe Lake Charles, and developing a new sportsbook at the aforementioned Horseshoe Bossier City.

Press Release Statement

Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s New Orleans will be the premier sports betting and watching destination in the southern United States, according to Caesars Entertainment Regional President Dan Real.

He said that this world-class sportsbook would provide an unparalleled game-day experience for Louisiana’s ardent sports fans and the region’s numerous tourists. Caesars recognizes the significance of sports, entertainment, and hospitality in Louisiana, and the new sportsbook will demonstrate the company’s dedication to the state and its residents.

Samir Mowad, general manager of Harrah’s New Orleans, remarked that because the World Series of Poker brand symbolizes the pinnacle of poker, it is only appropriate that they create a poker room that lives up to its heritage.

This will be achieved by offering a world-class environment for players to enjoy its games, while simultaneously building a competitive buzz that fosters camaraderie and generates an exciting feeling of success for its champions.
