Codere annexes another igaming content studio in Greenplay

Codere will gain access to 75% of all US racing events

XB Net’s network of 60 tracks, representing more than 75% of US horse racing, will be accessible on the betting platform of the Spanish operator, per the most recent agreement. Additionally, Codere will receive services such as betting, live images, and event data. Thus, Codere can offer its customers engaging content, enhancing their overall experience.

Borja Mata, manager of content and suppliers at Codere, commented on the development. Mata stated that the contract renewal is one of the “few silver linings” of the pandemic, and as a result, Codere’s customers will be able to appreciate and reap the benefits that US racing provides.

In addition, Mata mentioned that Spain’s time zone is well-positioned, allowing for a smooth meeting transition. He concluded by stating that everyone at the Spanish operator is eager to observe the performance of the innovative products.

Simon Fraser, senior vice president of international at XB Net, described Codere as a “giant brand” that is the best at what it does.

Therefore, he believes that this is the ideal opportunity for XB Net to form a partnership with the Spanish sportsbook. During the pandemic, Spanish fans of American horse racing have remained loyal, according to Fraser, and the league will rectify this problem.

In conclusion, Fraser stated that horse and greyhound races are prevalent, and their influence in the sports betting industry is growing daily.

According to Fraser, Spanish operators, including Codere, have observed this growth and are seeking to capitalize on it. Madrid is at the forefront of reforms aimed at significantly enhancing Spanish authorities’ regulation of the betting/gambling industry.

Codere Is One of Spain’s Most Well-Established Operators

Codere is arguably Spain’s most reputable betting company. It operates in five countries: Spain, Uruguay, Brazil, Panama, and Mexico. Codere operates in Brazil, Panama, and Uruguay under Turff Bet & Sports Bar.

Furthermore, it was the first company in Spain to be authorized to operate sports betting services. The first betting room of the company was opened in Madrid on April 16, 2008.

In 2013, Codere increased its support for the values of sport by signing the Clean Sport Corporate Commitment. Clean Sport’s Corporate Commitment promotes good practice and zero tolerance for sports doping worldwide.

The first company in the gambling industry to sign this commitment was Codere. In July 2022, Codere also demonstrated its support for women’s football by donating $300,000 to the non-profit organization “She Wins.”
