The Operator Readies Kansas for Launch

DraftKings has just announced its intention to launch its critically acclaimed sportsbook once Kansas legalizes sports betting. The operator’s launch is still contingent on regulatory approval, but the company is optimistic about joining Kansas before the National Football League season starts.

The state is scheduled to become the 18th to offer online sports betting and the 19th to offer sports betting.

DraftKings has long had Kansas in its sights. A few months ago, the company announced a sports betting agreement with Boot Hill Casino, a tribally-owned Kansas-based establishment, which will allow the operator to launch in the state.

Additionally, Boot Hill has contracts with Bally’s Corporation and, more recently, Golden Nugget Online Gaming.

After the official launch of Kansas’ sports betting market, sports betting enthusiasts in the Sunflower State will be able to wager with some of the most renowned operators in North America, such as DraftKings.

The latter’s mobile app is available for download on iOS and Android devices and will provide sports enthusiasts with thrilling experiences.

DraftKings Excited about sports betting in Kansas

Matt Kalish, the co-founder of DraftKings and acting president of DraftKings North America, stated that the company is excited to offer its “award-winning” products in the state.

Kalish remarked that the introduction of sports betting in Kansas coincides with a fascinating time of year, namely the NFL season. He is excited to debut in the state just in time for the cherished sports league.

DraftKings has already hinted at the promotions it will offer Kansas customers. Players who qualify can pre-register and receive $100 in free bets.

To elaborate, customers will accept four $25 free wagers. In addition, one lucky customer will receive a $100,000 free chance on the day of the launch.

DraftKings released its financial results for the year’s second quarter at the beginning of August. The company’s business appears to thrive, making it an ideal time to enter new markets.
