CDI Will Provide Horse Racing Content to FanDuel

Churchill Downs will supply FanDuel with the technology and services necessary for the operator’s clients to wager on CDI-owned races. 

In addition, Churchill Downs will provide FanDuel with non-exclusive Kentucky Derby sponsorship rights and let FanDuel to broadcast racing footage branded with the CDI logo. In exchange, FanDuel will pay usual content costs when accepting wagers on said content, as well as an annual sponsorship fee for the Kentucky Derby.

FanDuel will be able to stream programming from all of Churchill Downs’ thoroughbred racetracks, including its main track in Louisville. According to Churchill Downs, the terms of this deal encompass the Kentucky Derby week. January 2023, as declared by the two corporations, will mark the beginning of their relationship.

The Parties Are Looking Forward to Partnership

FanDuel’s chief executive officer, Amy Howe, discussed the new partnership with Churchill Downs. She stated that the debut of FanDuel TV is the ideal opportunity to present horse racing fans with additional content. Howe stated that the company intends to engage its customers with content and offer them a seamless wagering experience with a single wallet.

According to Howe, the entire FanDuel team is ecstatic to offer wagering on the renowned Kentucky Derby, an annual horse race held in Louisville.

Bill Carstanjen, the chief executive officer of Churchill Downs Incorporated, stated that his team is pleased to join up with FanDuel and provide premium horse racing programming to the gambling giant. 

He is confident that the combination of FanDuel’s marketing and Churchill Downs’ content will provide outstanding betting products. Churchill Downs has just expanded into New Hampshire by purchasing a new gaming hall in Salem.
