“Comprehensive Sports Betting and Viewing Experience”

Fubo Sportsbook is the first sportsbook in the state to integrate live TV streaming with wagering in a single ecosystem, offering sports bettors in New Jersey a variety of wagers in time for the 2022-23 football season and thousands of other live and upcoming professional and collegiate sporting events. 

Fubo Gaming’s president, Scott Butera, referred to the debut in New Jersey as an “essential early step in the growth” of the company’s integrated platform and emphasized the prospects the Garden State offered for the company.

As one of the largest and most established sports betting markets in the United States, New Jersey will allow Fubo to analyze and efficiently develop the most engaging product features that are focused on driving streaming customers into wagering, said Butera,

The executive also noted that the state is known for its “passionate sports fans” and expressing his confidence that they will enjoy Fubo Sportsbook’s “unique immersive sports wagering and viewing experience.

David Gandler, co-founder and chief executive officer of FuboTV, also remarked on the launch, emphasizing the company’s stance that “an integrated wagering platform delivering both live television and a sportsbook” provides users with the finest gaming experience. 

Gandler also mentioned that barely 10 months after Fubo Sportsbook’s first launch, the sportsbook is now live in three US states, with the team “dedicated to interactive wagering and continuing to investigate” expansion options in other states.

Fubo Gaming obtained market access for its Fubo Sportsbook in New Jersey as part of a March 2021 arrangement with Caesars Entertainment that also included market access in Indiana. 

The partners increased their deal in February of this year to cover market access in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Missouri. Fubo Sportsbook went active in Iowa and Arizona in the interim.

Enhancing the Relationship with the Jets

The debut in New Jersey strengthens Fubo Gaming’s foothold in the state following the operator’s multi-year agreement with the New York Jets, whose stadium is located in New Jersey and symbolizes the NY/NJ metropolitan area. 

Following the opening of Fubo’s 7,000-square-foot lounge at MetLife Stadium, the launch of Fubo Sportsbook will activate the mobile sports betting lounge during the 2022 football season, featuring a casino-style sportsbook integrated with betting odds, special bonuses, and other incentives to provide an unrivaled in-stadium experience.
