The operators will work to make the gambling market safer

All of the six operators pledged to adhere to twelve essential gambling safety guidelines. This project coincides with Responsible Gaming Education Month. The principles are built on four key pillars, including operating only in licensed jurisdictions, performing responsible business procedures, ensuring that online gambling is entertaining, and giving tools to assist players who may require assistance. This includes self-exclusion, loss limitations, and further alternatives for responsible gambling.

In addition, operators are committed to safeguarding vulnerable individuals and preventing underage gaming at all costs. In addition, the six corporations have pledged their assistance in the construction of a national hotline for people impacted by gambling addiction. In addition to updating existing responsible gambling efforts, operators will donate funds to organizations that study problem gambling.

Companies are fully committed to increasing their responsibility

BetMGM’s chief legal officer, Joshua Jessen, stated that the company has always endeavored to be socially responsible and considerate towards its players.

He underlined that the entire BetMGM team is dedicated to the 12-point pledge and pledged that the company would do all possible to prevent problems and underage gaming.

Chrissy Thurmond, senior director of responsible gaming at DraftKings, expressed excitement at the company’s participation in this “landmark project.”

She stated that DraftKings is pleased to adopt the 12 principles, which she feels will benefit American consumers nationwide. Entain’s senior vice president of regulatory affairs, Martin Lycka, referred to the 12 principles as “an important milestone” for the industry and expressed his delight that so many major companies have committed to a safer US gambling market.

Adam Warrington, vice president of responsible gaming at FanDuel, stated that his company is excited to collaborate with the remaining brands. He stated that the operator is eager to work with the remaining businesses to safeguard the whole industry.

This news arrives just days after FanDuel’s announcement that it would increase its responsible gambling efforts. Recently, the firm renewed its contract with seven-division champion boxer Amanda Serrano. Serrano was selected as a brand ambassador for FanDuel and will assist the company in promoting healthier gambling.
