Flutter Launches International Advocacy Program

The Group Executive Committee of Flutter Entertainment will direct the program by focusing on four worldwide workstreams.

Each of the latter will focus on a unique minority population and be overseen by a unique Flutter executive. The first group, Gender, will be overseen by Amy Howe, the FanDuel brand’s chief executive officer. The second is Multicultural and will be led by Pádraig Rordáin, the chief legal officer and commercial director of Flutter.

The third group is LGBT+, which will be overseen by Barni Evans, the brand’s chief executive. Finally, Flutter’s chief information officer, Paul Cutter, will manage the Accessibility workstream.

Each process is very self-explanatory. For instance, the Flutter Executive Committee highlighted that listening reduces the likelihood of being disconnected from the daily work experiences of underrepresented groups’ employees.

The organization and its employees will gain knowledge and a deeper understanding of the experiences of such individuals through listening. Consequently, the corporation will be able to advocate for these employees and finally take action and revise its rules.

Flutter desires a deeper comprehension of its employees

According to Flutter, the new program would be built on the insights of workers. The aim of the Executive Committee will be to analyze these findings and develop a company-wide action plan that “can create scalable and meaningful transformation.” Flutter anticipates that the new project will assist them in advancing its Positive Impact Plan.

Phil Bishop, Flutter Entertainment’s chief human resources officer, discussed the new initiative. He stated that Flutter is a firm with strong beliefs towards diversity, equity, and inclusion.

According to Bishop, it is the responsibility of the Executive Committee to harness the voices of the people in order to promote and drive significant, long-lasting cultural change. Bishop underlined that the training is essential for comprehending how all Flutter employees, particularly those from diverse backgrounds, feel.
