IGT expands its relationship with the Texas lottery

Wednesday, the business announced that its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, had extended its collaboration with the Texas Lottery by ten years. 

Following the expanded relationship’s terms, IGT will continue to provide the Lottery with solutions and scratch ticket printing services. The most current announcement is the result of a competitive bidding process. Now, the partnership will continue until August 2034.

In addition to printing scratch tickets, IGT will provide the Texas Lottery with its lottery operations and services. These include the operations of its data center, its field sales team, and its central lottery system. In addition, the Lottery will utilize IGT’s retail equipment and support, call center, marketing services, and warehouse and distribution services.

Moreover, IGT is the only provider for the Lottery’s Loteria line of games. In 2021 alone, the extremely popular game made more than $1.6 billion in sales. Gary Grief, the executive director of the Texas Lottery, disclosed that IGT has been a strategic partner since 1992, when the Lottery was first established. He added that the Lottery was able to produce over $35 billion in revenue for charitable purposes by cooperating with the biggest gaming firm.

 Lastly, Grief stated that the Lottery is excited to continue its partnership with IGT to produce new and exciting scratch tickets.
