• Jackpocket, a mobile app that enables users to purchase lottery tickets for a variety of games, has expanded its collaboration with the New York Islanders, a prominent National Hockey League (NHL) team.
• The lottery app has been declared the official sponsor of the team’s home helmet.
• During UBS Arena games, the emblem of Jackpocket will display on the Islanders’ helmets.

 

 

Jackpocket Named NY Islanders’ Home Helmet Sponsor

Jackpocket is the official home helmet of the New York Islanders. This means that the logo of the lottery app will be shown on the players’ helmets during home games during the 2022/23 NHL season.

In addition, the Islanders will promote Jackpocket’s brand throughout their stadium and broadcasts, and will display the company’s logo on its Digitally Enhanced Dashboards during television broadcasts. 

The lottery brand will receive a total of two minutes of airtime per game, thereby significantly increasing its brand familiarity among Islanders fans.

The Islanders will also put Jackpocket’s branding on LED signage inside the UBS Arena, their home stadium. All of the team’s home games will be televised live from Jackpocket’s Radio Booth. 

Finally, Jackpocket and the New York Islanders will offer sports fans the chance to win a variety of prizes, such as UBS Arena tickets and UBS Club fan experiences. Among the smaller rewards is various Islanders-branded merchandise.

Both Parties Delight in Strengthening Their Partnership

The new NHL season honors the 50th anniversary of the Islanders’ membership in the league. Jon Ledecky, co-owner of the franchise, discussed the new deal. 

The team is excited to expand its connection with the lottery company and welcome it as the official sponsor of its home helmets, according to him.

Ledecky noted that the NHL team has great faith in Jackpocket and is eager to collaborate with the firm.

The founder and CEO of Jackpocket, Peter Sullivan, lauded the Islanders as a great New York institution. His team is excited to further its relationship with the franchise by becoming the home helmet sponsor.

Jackpocket has also been designated as the official digital lottery courier for all live events held in the team’s home stadium, per Sullivan. Jackpocket has established itself as a recognizable brand in New York. In late August of this year, the state lottery app delivered its sixth $1 million reward.
