PokerStars and the Detroit Red Wings joined forces

PokerStars will join the team as a sponsor and promote online poker while supporting professional sports, per the agreement.

The multi-year agreement will allow the poker brand to capitalize on the rapid growth of online poker in order to provide exciting experiences to fans throughout the United States.

Committed to Promote Responsible Gambling at Market

PokerStars will also be permitted to use Detroit Red Wings imagery, including the team’s iconic Winged Wheel, to promote its products.

Fans can anticipate seeing the NHL team’s logo on a variety of promotional materials.

PokerStars’ logo will be displayed at the Little Caesars Arena during the team’s home games. Last but not least, PokerStars and the Red Wings are committed to promoting responsible gambling.

The Two Parties are Delighted to be Partners

According to Chris McGowan, president and chief executive officer of Ilitch Sports and Entertainment, all National Hockey League fans will enjoy this new partnership.

He added that it is wonderful to see PokerStars’ logo on the Little Caesars Arena and thanked the operator for its assistance.

Severin Rasset, the managing director of PokerStars US, also commented on the agreement. He stated that his team is thrilled to establish a long-term partnership with an NHL powerhouse like the Detroit Red Wings.

Rasset added that PokerStars will leverage this agreement to deliver “epic experiences” to the PokerStars community, thereby expanding its offering for players in Michigan and across the United States.

PokerStars Is Highly Active

In other news, PokerStars has recently partnered with Push Gaming, an industry-leading provider of online casino games. Under the terms of this agreement, the former company will provide Push Gaming with its suite of proprietary iGaming titles and solutions.

Significant Milestones Achieve This Year

Early in the month of November, PokerStars and Poker Power collaborated to launch a new “boot camp” program for female soccer players. This initiative aims to increase women’s participation in professional sports.

The operator has recently been forced to reimburse a German player, however, so not everything has gone smoothly. Long before online poker was legalized in the country, the gambler in question spent thousands on the game.
