The Ohio Casino Control Commission denies PlayUp’s sportsbook to secure a license because of suspicions of illicit gambling. 

After the state’s regulator identified suspected illegal gambling activities relating to PlayUp’s PlaySlots+ product, it seems likely that the Australian betting operator PlayUp will be denied its Ohio license.

During its most recent Barstool College Football Show, the firm allegedly advertised its services to minors. The Commission observed that the event targeted the area surrounding the University of Toledo campus, representing a serious infringement of marketing restrictions.
