This reveals that November was the month that brought in the most money for the state from wagers placed on sporting events than any other month in the history of the state.

Players in Arkansas’s Betting Market Have Increased since 2022

The number of people interested in betting on sports in Arkansas has been increasing noticeably from one month to the next.

Additionally, the results for November are more than twice as good as those for June, which saw a total of $12.60 million worth of wagers placed in the state.

The Department did not disclose any additional breakdown into the data for the month of November, but they did say that in October, more than $20 million had been placed using mobile applications, with the remaining $6.1 million flowing through the state’s three licensed casinos.

Arkansas’s Gaming Industry Increase

In addition, according to the Department, during the course of the previous 11 months, the state was responsible for more than $124 million in total bets.

On the other hand, residents of Arkansas have been authorized to participate in online sports betting since March. Gamblers had only the option of playing at land-based establishments between the months of January and March.

Over the course of the previous few months, Arkansas’s gaming industry has also been subject to a number of reforms. The state has at last decided on a provider for the gambling treatment program it will offer, and they have selected the Problem Gambling Council to serve as the official educational and treatment provider.

The state has been criticized for the delay, as it took years to actually set up the program after formally allocating $200,000 of the tax money collected via gambling towards the tackling of problem gambling.
