The agreement between the UK-based bet365 and the Major League Baseball franchise the Cleveland Guardians was reached just days after Ohio officially launched its sports betting market on January 1, 2023.

At a news conference that will be held at the ballpark on Thursday, the team is anticipated to discuss its plans for upgrading Progressive Field, which is expected to include the incorporation of a sportsbook into the new designs.
