On Monday, the Tennessee Titans announced a new joint venture between MGM Resorts International and British bookmaker GVC Holdings’ joint venture- BetMGM. The partnership will see BetMGM becoming the first Official Sports Betting Partner for the team.

First official sports betting partnership in the state

The Tennessee Titans and BetMGM partnership is not just the first partnership of its kind for the sporting team but for the entire state. Before this, no sports franchise teamed up with a sports betting operator. Commenting on the deal, senior vice president, chief marketing and revenue officer at Titans, Gil Beverly said,

“We are thrilled to bring BetMGM to the state of Tennessee. BetMGM will deliver new experiences and levels of engagement to our fans and we’re excited to welcome them in as an official partner.”

BetMGM is set to receive more brand visibility as the official sports betting partner of the team. It will be visible across all games, specially the most crucial in-game moments which will provide more brand awareness.

More benefits to BetMGM

With the new deal, BetMGM will be the exclusive naming rights partner of the team’s Saint Thomas Sports Park television studio. It will also be the home to Titans All Access, Coach Mike Vrabel Show, and other content that comes from the team. BetMGM will also sponsor a new Titans raffle that benefits The Titans Foundations which funds community organizations throughout the state.

According to Matt Prevost, chief marketing officer at BetMGM, the company is excited and proud to have partnered with BetMGM. He also said that Titans fans will now find new ways to increase their engagement with the team. The deal comes shortly after BetMGM received a conditional license to operate online sports betting business in Tennessee. The app is scheduled to debut on November 1. It is already available for download in seven states.
