Reflex Gaming becomes third studio to utilize Yggdrasil’s GigaBlox mechanics

Reflex Gaming has just become the third studio to leverage Yggdrasil Casino’s proprietary mechanic Gigablox for the development of its future games. The two companies announced the deal in a joint press release on Thursday.

Yggdrasil’s Gigablox Mechanics

Reflex Gaming joined DreamTech Gaming and Bang Bang Games in the circle of YG Masters affiliate studios that are now utilizing the revolutionary Gigablox mechanic.

Yggdrasil launched three proprietary mechanics last year, all designed to provide something fresh in the world of slots and real money games. GigaBlox, Splitz and Multimax mechanics all brings unique elements to the table and rise up the level of entertainment.

The GigaBlox payout mechanics, specifically, has already made its debut in some of Yggdrasil’s and YG Masters-produced games throughout 2021. Lucky Neko and Hades are just a couple of games that integrated the GigaBlox mechanic, which dramatically increases the chance of hitting a massive payout as its dynamics enables the spawning of blocks up to 6×6 stacks.

More Innovative Games

Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Programs at Yggdrasil, highlighted in the press release the significance of the YG Masters program to studios as they together strive to cater fresh, innovative games for their gaming patrons.

“By offering our proven mechanics to our YG Masters partners they can launch new games knowing they will appeal to global players,” said Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Programs at Yggdrasil.

“YG Masters help our partners rapidly develop content for distribution to our vast operator network, while within our framework offering, studios can elevate their portfolios even further.

“Our partnership with Reflex Gaming is going from strength-to-strength and we are excited to see the upcoming titles they will deliver with the Gigablox™ mechanic to further fuel their success.”

Mat Ingram, CPO at Reflex Gaming, also expressed his enthusiasm on their new project with Yggdrasil, which he believes will play an important role in the creation of their games slated for this year.

“Through the YG Masters program, we have been able to streamline the development process, allowing us to focus on the game design and enabling us to launch exciting titles to a new audience. We have a full game launch schedule for 2021, with some epic releases coming.

“We are really impressed with what Yggdrasil has done on their games using these mechanics. Our game design team already has ideas on how to deploy these clever slot mechanics on our own upcoming games.”

Also inclusive to the benefits of being a YG Master is the utilization of Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art GATI technology. This preconfigured, regulation-ready development toolkit enables studios and developers to apply standardised technology to develop and distribute games.
