Virgin Hotel Las Vegas will finally debut on March 25, welcoming customers in what used to the former Hard Rock International property.

Executives of the new casino in Sin City previously penciled earlier for its debut. However, the then prevailing market conditions brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic prompted the delay of the grand opening.

The group behind the property targeted debut of the revamped Hard Rock International property during the last quarter of 2020. They then announced in September last year that they will be moving the opening to January 15 before scrapping it again earlier this year.

Richard Bosworth, president and CEO of JC Hospitality, owner of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, revealed in a press release on Monday that Virgin Hotel Las Vegas will finally be making its debut on March 25. The latest hotel in Las Vegas is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton.

“It has been a journey, but to finally reach this milestone and confidently announce our opening date would not be possible without our incredible partners and construction team,” Bosworth said in the press release.

“Today we are not only celebrating the fact that we finally get to welcome back guests to the most exciting resort to open in Las Vegas in years, but we also get to bring our team members back to work.”

Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotel Las Vegas

Virgin Hotel Las Vegas will host the 60,000 square foot Mohegan Sun Casino. Operated by Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, the new casino will offer players a wide range of attractions such as slots, table games, high-limit areas and a race and sportsbook.

The new casino also boasts more than 1,500 suites across the three towers of Ruby, Opal and Canyon. It also features a five-acre desert pool oasis including a multi-functional event lawn; live music and entertainment theater with 4,500 capacity; 24 Oxford showroom accommodating 650 guests; and an exclusive portfolio of twelve food and beverage venues.
