The Puyallup Tribe of Indians and BetMGM have teamed up and secured a retail sports betting entry in Washington state alongside the tribe-owned casino called Emerald Queen Casino (EQC). The iGaming and sports betting operator continue its streak of expansion in the rapidly-developing gambling landscape in the United States. Emerald Queen Casino has two properties in Tacoma ad Fife.

Comments on the partnership

Adam Greenblatt, the CEO of BetMGM has commented on this partnership. He has stated that the partnership is a significant achievement for the company as it continues to grow its footprint in the western states. The latest deal in Washington is a success for the company. He said that Emerald Queen and The Puyallup Tribe of Indians are natural partners for the organization as they have the same high level of amenities, service as well as experiences that are in the blood of the organization at BetMGM. Frank Wright Jr, General Manager of Emerald Queen has excited at the prospect of partnering with BetMGM, the latest partnership for his company. He stated that both companies are market leaders and entertainment powerhouses. He stated that the combination would deliver the ultimate fan experience for customers in the world of sports betting.

Operations expected to be stared at both places

The approvals from the regulators are pending. BetMGM would like to start operations in both places of Tacoma ad Fife. Products, as well as hardware, have already been selected for both places where the company expects to have its launch. The property that is located at Tahoma is expected to have six ticket windows as well as thirty betting kiosks. A dedicated viewing area will be available that will have a dozen 86-inch, high-definition television sets. Also available will be a 500 square foot LED wall so that users won’t miss anything and will have a memorable experience. The property at Fife will have 22 betting kiosks for customers.

Momentum for tribal betting in the United States

BetMGM has secured an entry in the state of South Dakota through a partnership with Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resorts and Hospitality’s Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort. Rival companies are keen on entering the state of Washington.
