October 2021 Post Views: 91 Global market-leading gaming machine and solution provider Aristocrat announced on Thursday, October 14, that Boyd Pay Wallet, a cashless payment solution designed to support Boyd Gaming’s line of table games, has passed the initial field trial. Aristocrat debuts Boyd Pay Wallet Aristocrat strengthened its partnership with Boyd Gaming by giving the partner casino operator a major upgrade in the cashless solution front. Following the successful integration of Aristocrat’s cashless technology into Boyd Gaming’s collection of slots, the gaming giant conducted another field trial to determine Boyd Pay Wallet’s reliability in providing a cashless gaming experience to table game players at Boyd Gaming properties. According to Casino Beat, Aristocrat teamed up with Genesis Gaming in overseeing the solution’s field trial at Boyd Gaming’s Aliante Casino Hotel and Spa in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Aristocrat will soon integrate the solution into Boyd Gaming’s B Connected app, enabling the operator’s customers to use only their mobile devices to fund table game wagers. In just a matter of a few clicks and swipes, the cashless app eliminates the hassles of withdrawing from an ATM or redeeming tickets and chips at the cage. The Boyd Pay Wallet allows players to buy traditional chips cashless. Players only need to log into the app and put the desired amount of casino chips they want to buy. At the end of the play, the players can keep casino chips or move funds directly back to the cashless Boyd Pay wallet without ever visiting the cage. Boyd Gaming detailed its partnership with Aristocrat earlier this year, revealing its intent to utilize the latter’s cashless technology in powering its real-money offering comprised of slots and table games. Before conducting the table game trials, Boyd Gaming already incorporated its partner’s cashless technology into every slot at Boyd Gaming properties in Nevada, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Ohio. The operator also utilized the solution for its non-gaming amenities in Nevada. Quotes from the Press Release Cath Burns, executive vice president of customer experience solutions for Aristocrat Gaming, said: “Innovation and improving the guest journey is at the heart of everything we do, and our industry-leading mobile offerings are a testament to that. With this technology, we’re committed to delivering best-in-class experiences for both patrons and operators throughout the guest journey.” Blake Rampmaier, senior vice president and chief information officer for Boyd Gaming, added, “Boyd Pay is another example of our commitment to leverage technology to enhance the guest experience at our properties. “Boyd Gaming continues to add industry-best mobile cashless wagering and contactless solutions in partnership with Aristocrat to drive mobile innovation in a secure and exciting environment for our patrons.” About Lou De Aguila Lou Aguila is a news and feature writer for Golden Casino News.
