PlayUp has secured another crucial market entry in its ongoing US expansion as the gaming operator officially arrives in the Pennsylvania iGaming scene.

What’s the Deal?

PlayUp confirmed last Thursday, Nov. 4, that its igaming products are now live in the Keystone State through link-up with partner operators in the jurisdiction.  

Originally an online sport betting and Fantasy Sports operator, the company has now diversified its portfolio to include iGaming products comprised of slots and other digital real-money games.

PlayUP CEO Dr Laila Mintas stressed the need to expand into a new vertical as more competitors crowd the US sports betting arena. The executive feels optimistic that their market entry in Pennsylvania and Iowa will bring more growth opportunities to his company. 

Pennsylvania online casino market continues to move upward after recording a 71.5 percent increase amounting to $98 million in year-over-year metric last September. A year ago, the state generated just $57 million in revenue. 

 PlayUp also revealed its plan to expand into additional US markets that currently cater iGaming products to customers. 

Mintas said his firm is now looking into establishing a presence in New Jersey next with plans to penetrate Nevada, Michigan, and West Virginia in the pipeline.   

As mentioned, PlayUp worked its way into Iowa after striking a strategic tie-up with Wild Rose Entertainment. The latter has started offering the brand’s iGaming content to customers residing in the state.
