Bragg Gaming Group has highlighted the possibility for “huge development opportunities” following the clearance of its Oryx Gaming subsidiary by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission.

Bragg Gaming’s Oryx unit gets UK clearance

Described as a “major milestone,” the licensing approval will enable the company to access “one of the world’s most established igaming marketplaces” as it seeks to expand its global reach significantly.

The UKGC-awarded supplier license will let Bragg’s Oryx business distribute its real-money slots and online casino content to various operators, with an initial batch of slots certified for the region. This includes games produced in-house and exclusive titles from Gamomat, which will hit gaming lobbies of partner operators before the end of the year.

Bragg adds that the license is an “essential step” in its continuous expansion plan, as it seeks to gain more market share in regulated jurisdictions while also obtaining access to new jurisdictions. The business anticipates that its global market expansion initiatives will double or triple its TAM to more than $18 billion in 2022. The UK market accounts for just under a third of that total.
