William Hill has announced the probable closure of a trio of the group’s online casino businesses, emphasizing that the strategic decision was made as part of a “constant” brand examination.

The gambling group acknowledged the closures of Eurogrand, 21 Nova, and William Hill Casino Club in an email statement to affiliates.

According to the company statement, the business will “concentrate on our William Hill and Mr Green brands” following a “period of evaluation,” adding that there are “no intentions to reduce our portfolio further and we remain committed to our core brands.” 

The email states that the gaming operator will discontinue marketing for the trio on Friday, November 26, and will cease accepting new clients on Monday, November 29.

Customers will then have until Monday, January 24 2021, to pay or withdraw any leftover balances before Eurogrand, William Hill Casino Club, and 21Nova cease operations. 

Affiliates are urged to discontinue any promotions relating to the three “immediately.”

“We have made a strategic choice to close our Eurogrand, 21 Nova, and William Hill Casino Club brands,” a company spokeswoman confirmed. “This is in line with our ongoing assessment of our brands and business presence.”
