Playtech opens two new live casino spots in Michigan and New Jersey

Playtech has opened two new live casino locations, one in Michigan and one in New Jersey, following approvals from the Michigan Gaming Control Board and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Playtech adds two new live casino locations

Playtech noted that the opening of both facilities, in collaboration with its partners Parx Interactive under the Play Gun Lake brand in Michigan and bet365 in New Jersey, marks the launch of its live casino offering in the United States and the “next step” in the firm’s strategic expansion in North America.

“This is a watershed moment for Playtech and our development in the United States,” said Edo Haitin, CEO of Playtech live casino. We are indebted to the Atlantic City and Southfield communities for their warm welcome and support. We look forward to becoming an essential part of both communities and contributing our share.

“The opening of these two facilities demonstrates our commitment to delivering our industry-leading studio standards to the United States while also expanding access to Playtech Live’s most engaging and creative products and technologies to new markets and consumers.

“Through our partnerships with Parx Interactive in Michigan and bet365 in New Jersey, we have been able to join some of the fastest developing states in the United States, and the local populations have enthusiastically accepted Playtech’s vision and commitment to expansion.”

The Southfield, Michigan-based studio was built to provide a “new standard” in live casino experience. The initial launch includes live dealer tables for standard roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and all bets blackjack, which is based on Playtech’s scalable variation, which allows for an unlimited number of players in a game.

This initial offering will be followed by several launches, including a sports-themed environment, a new arcade experience that will introduce a new way to interact with live casinos, andcompany’s live gaming programs.

Additionally, both the Michigan and New Jersey studios offer a quantum roulette arcade that is optimized for the US market. It’s a double zero auto roulette table with a new x1,000 multiplier, according to Playtech, making it the first live multiplier roulette variant to launch in both states.

Quotes from the Press Release

“Launching two state-of-the-art studios in two regulated states on the same day is something I have never seen before, but I am very proud of the entire Playtech Live team for rising to the occasion and providing not one but two best-in-class live casino studios,” Haitin said.

“By creating specifically tailored gameplay experiences for the US market, we are confident that we will provide an exceptional online experience to players in Michigan and New Jersey, and we are excited to continue our journey by adding more leading titles and content to our Playtech Live offering in the coming months.”
