Resorts International strikes multi-state content deal with Digital Gaming

Digital Gaming Corporation has expanded its footprint in New Jersey, with Resorts Digital Gaming incorporating the provider’s whole portfolio of online slot content.

Resorts International – Digital Gaming Deal

The deal would provide New Jersey-based operator’s customers’ access to various igaming titles, including the 9 Masks of Fire and HyperStrike games, which DGC claims are “already popular with Garden State players.” Assassin Moon, HyperGold, and Adventures of Doubloon Island are included.

While DGC’s games will initially begin in New Jersey, the contract is multi-state in nature. It will be expanded to include any newly regulated jurisdictions into which the operator expands. Earlier this month, it was revealed that New Jersey’s online casinos and poker rooms completed the year with a record $133.2 million in revenue, surpassing the previous year’s record of $127 million in October 2021. This was also 25.3% from $99.5 million in December 2020.

Borgata maintained its lead with $37 million, up 36.4 percent from $27.1 million, but Golden Nugget Online Gaming closed the gap to one million dollars with $36 million. Resorts Digital rounded out the top three with $32.9 million.

Quotes from the Press Release

“In Resorts Digital Gaming, we have a partner who understands the critical nature of providing players with premium and diversified content that satisfies their desire for high levels of engagement and pleasure,” said Neill Whyte, the chief commercial officer of DGC’s B2B igaming division.

“Our games accomplish precisely that, having been developed specifically for the US market. They are now some of the most played slots in the Garden State, and we look forward to watching Resorts Casino players enjoy their unmatched experience.”

Ed Andrewes, CEO of Resorts Digital Gaming, added: “Resorts Casino has already established a sizable market position in the New Jersey online slot market, owing in part to the industry-leading game library we have curated. By incorporating DGC’s based, premium games, we can take this to the next level.

“DGC’s commitment to the US market is apparent in the success of its slots among players in New Jersey and elsewhere, and we are happy to be able to provide its content to our players for the first time, who we believe will enjoy the excitement and thrills each title brings.
