Caesars’ New Orleans Casino Is Set to Open This Fall

Gaming giant Caesars Entertainment has confirmed that the redevelopment of Harrah’s, the only land-based casino in New Orleans, is proceeding as planned. The $325 million project comprises a 340-room hotel tower, updated interiors and exteriors, and additional dining options. The ultimate objective is to construct a luxury resort near the French Quarter of the city. Once completed, Ceasars plans to host several poker tournaments in the venue sanctioned by the World Series of Poker.

Harrah’s Aims to Become the Premier Destination for Sports Betting

This autumn, the new Caesars Sportsbook and World Series of Poker Room will open to the public as the renovation’s chief features.

Dan Real, regional president of Caesars Entertainment, said that the new sportsbook will become the leading sports betting destination in Louisiana and the surrounding states, providing a first-class experience for sports lovers and visitors.

Impressive are the operator’s ambitions for the new sportsbook venue. The Sportsbook at Harrah’s will be 5,700 square feet in size. It will have four betting windows, twelve self-service kiosks, and an audiovisual system of the highest caliber.

On a 147-foot-tall display screen, customers will watch sports events nonstop. The facility will be able to accommodate 140 guests, plus an extra 28 at its outstanding bar.

VIP attendees will get access to the “Fan Cave,” a 10-person private viewing room designed to deliver the best watching experience possible.

The Renovations Will Also Please Poker Enthusiasts

The projected World Series of Poker room is another significant addition to Harrah’s. Caesars already has plans to stage tournaments on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays each week.

Samir Mowad, general manager of Harrah’s New Orleans, indicated that the rebuilt location will create a luxurious atmosphere for poker players. The new poker room, he claimed, will encourage a spirit of competition and friendship and be the scene of many dramatic triumphs.

Caesars Entertainment is participating in more big remodeling projects in Louisiana, in addition to Harrah’s. Additionally, the company intends to renovate its Lake Charles resort, which will reopen as Horseshoe Lake Charles.

Caesars is spending $400 million to renovate its current property in Atlantic City, with an emphasis on enhancing culinary services. Hell’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay and Japanese-themed lifestyle brand Nobu Hospitality, which will establish a hotel and restaurant at the resort, are among the notables attracted by the firm.
