Action Network, a market leader and source of news, industry insights, statistics, odds, and sports betting tools for sports enthusiasts, has signed an agreement with non-fungible token (NFT) community Knights of Degen. 

The significant relationship will assist in bridging the gap between sports enthusiasts and the Web3-based community with an interest in NFTs, which are tokens created using the same programming applied to cryptocurrency.

The new contract was signed just in time for the September start of the next National Football League (NFL) season.

Unprecedented for Knights of Degen

Knights of Degen, which was founded by Frew Austin, Jerry Ferrara, Jared Augustine, and Tiki Barber, among other sports stars and Web3 entrepreneurs, has never had the chance to partner with specialized sports media firm.

It is anticipated that the new arrangement would help the community expand and provide access to new material generated in collaboration with Action Network.

The deal also includes a series of live events, such as the NFL Kick-Off event, as well as other live events and competitions with significant rewards. Every Knight NFT holder will get a complimentary Premium Subscription to the media organization’s sports betting material.

Tiki Barber, a former running back for the New York Giants, described the spirit of the Knights of Degen society. He stated, “it’s about hanging out with pals on Sundays,” reviewing the most recent game action or debating fantasy scores. Barber emphasized further that Action Network is the right partner that would provide them with “excellent value and service” He also referred to Knights of Degen as the “ideal gateway for conventional sports fans to Web3.”

What Will the Community of Action Network Receive?

In return, Action Network fans will have access to new competitions, athlete AMAs, and a series of instructional messages that will expose them to the NFT world in a more comprehensive manner. Action Network will acquire Knights of Degen non-fungible tokens in order to join the community. Scott Miller, senior vice president of Better Collective, described how the world of sports betting is rife with “unique, one-of-a-kind experiences” akin to NFTs, citing the company’s penetration into the Web3 area as evidence of their dedication to combining technology with sports.

Better Collective hired Sean Valukis of Action Network as its new senior vice president of marketing in July. By owning teams like Wagmi United and Fan Controlled Football, enrolling for special tournaments, and even partaking in VIP events and rewards, Knights of Degen NFT owners will be able to enjoy conventional sports from a unique viewpoint.
