Consequently, Caleb Rowden, a member of the Missouri State Senate, has declared that the legalization of sports betting in Missouri will be a priority during the upcoming legislative session.

The state of Kansas is the 32nd to authorize sports betting. The official debut of the retail sports betting industry was scheduled for September 1, while internet wagering will begin on September 8.
