MansionBet Announces Extended Sponsorship Deal with JCR and ARC

Mansion Group’s sports betting brand MansionBet recently announced an extended sponsorship deal with ARC and JCR as part of its British racing support objective. The sponsorship gives the brand access to 60 events that host 360 races.

Extended deals

MansionBet recently extended its deals with Jockey Club Racecourses (JCR) and Arena Racing Company (ARC) as part of its effort to support British racing in 2021. The firm’s chief marketing officer David Murphy said,

“We are both excited and proud to continue our support of British racing into 2021. Having taken huge steps forward to improve our racing product over the last 12 months, we continue to strive to deliver the best offering to our customers.”

MansionBet was available across numerous racecourses in 2020 which included the MansionBet Challow Hurdle towards the end of the year at Newbury. ARC’s group director of partnerships David Leyden Dunbar said that working with the sports betting firm has been a good experience and acknowledged their efforts for taking British horseracing forward.

2020 was tricky for British horseracing

MansionBet provided financial support to the horseracing industry after it went through troubled times in 2020. All horse races were suspended in the middle of March by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA). It shut down race courses till the end of April in order to comply with the broader shutdown policies in the country.

The BHA announced a provisional fixture schedule for June, July, and August later, which allowed racecourses to start operations behind closed doors, complying with the health and safety guidelines of the authorities. Murphy said that 2020 was a difficult year for the racecourses but they are planning to hold over 60 events in 26 venues this year.

The extended partnership deal will cover 60 events and over 360 races like the Newbury Spring Cup, Ffos Las and Newcastle, Huntington, Doncaster, and Market Rasen.
