Lightning Box-TwinSpires Deal Under the terms of the commercial deal, the studio’s entire portfolio of real money games will go live on Churchill Downs’ TwinSpires online sportsbook and casino platform in Michigan. It only means players in Michigan’s TwinSpires Casino will now be able to access slot titles released by the game development company, including its hit games such as ChickenFox, Lightning Horseman and Lightning Leopard. The Churchill Downs’ TwinSpires casino took its name from the iconic spires at Churchill Downs racetrack pavilion in Kentucky. The partnership with the Michigan-based operator marks the latest in a series of deals Lightning Box entered into as the studio looks to deepen its link in more US territories. Last January, the supplier went live for the first time in Michigan after striking a collaboration with Scientific Games’s digital arm, SG Digital. The firm has also made its successful entry into the regulated markets of New Jersey and Pennsylvania with plans to debut in more states this year. Churchill Downs has just launched its Twinspires mobile and online sportsbook in Tennessee. The operator also announced that its retail, mobile and online sportsbooks in Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey and Pennsylvania would undergo transition to the TwinSpires brand in the first half of the year.
