Casino Barrière Montreux partners with Gamanza to offer online entry to the Swiss market

After introducing its Gamrfirst platform, Casino Barrière Montreux has become the latest Swiss land-based gaming establishment to enter the region’s digital gaming ecosystem. Gamanza’s ISO 27001-certified GaminGenius Software is used at the venue, which comprises an account platform with compliance framework, regulatory data vault, payment gateway, and real-time CRM.

The brand name is intended to evoke an image of a modern casino that places a premium on player service and the mobile gaming experience.

Casino Barrière Montreux’s future plans include the promotion of new gamification features and hybrid loyalty programs between its land-based and internet operations.

Alexandre Desseigne-Barrière, director of strategy and development for the Barrière Group, added: “We are extremely proud to be able to offer a digital service that complements our Montreux casino, and with the assistance of our partner Gamanza, we are able to introduce more Swiss residents to the Barrière world of gaming, which maintains the same strong commitment to responsible gaming.”

“The launch of Gamrfirst, one year after the introduction of our online sports betting platform BarrièreBet in France, is part of the group’s growth plan; we are particularly interested in reaching new consumers in the digital space.”

“The launch of our online casino site Gamrfirst is the culmination of a committed collaboration between the teams at Casino Barrière Montreux and Barrière headquarters, aided by a close relationship with our technical partner Gamanza, the market leader in Switzerland,” said Jérôme Colin, general manager of Casino Barrière Montreux.

“As for Casino Barrière Montreux, our shared objective with Gamrfirst is to provide a one-of-a-kind gaming experience based on the Barrière Group’s high standards, thereby establishing the brand as a leading reference in the Swiss market. Gamrfirst also makes use of Gamanza’s ‘rules engine’ to automate actions based on various behaviors and criteria, enabling the operator to effectively manage risk and adhere to responsible gaming policies.”

“We are quite pleased of this relationship — Casino Barrière Montreux is a world-renowned establishment, and the Barrière Group is a recognized brand internationally, so it’s extremely humbling for us at Gamanza,” said Robert Civill, chief commercial officer of Gamanza.

“It’s an honor to collaborate with such a professional organization, and introducing Gamrfirst was the ideal way for our team to toast the end of 2021.” Now, we’re definitely looking forward to assisting the brand’s growth in 2022 and beyond.”
