A non-profit membership branch of Las Vegas Sands, Sands Cares Accelerator, commended Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) on becoming the second organization to complete the program’s ‘graduate program.

The fast-track program, which was created to assist fledgling organizations that are at the ‘tipping point’ of having a positive impact on communities, provides extended funding, strategic guidance, and expert advice over a three-year period to organizations that are on the verge of having a positive impact on communities. Several organizations have benefited from the program since its start in 2017. A fundraising event, the Sands Cares Inspire Charity Concert, was performed in 2017, with all earnings going to the organizations that received support from the program. The Marty Hennessy Inspiring Children Foundation, which was the program’s inaugural inductee, will complete its studies in 2020.
