Merging in Operations to Resolve Lack of Cash Games and Prize Pools

PokerStars has not gone it alone, having coordinated extremely closely with authorities in both jurisdictions, and has also set a precedent for what future states that move forward with such a move may expect from other states that go through with such a move. 

Although New Jersey is currently a party to an interstate gaming compact along with Nevada and Delaware, individual companies will need to reach an agreement to combine their customer bases before the compact can go into effect.

The encouraging news is that interest in playing poker online is gradually growing. This can be attributed, in part, to the renewed interest in and legislative momentum behind the idea of legalizing internet gambling and launching online casinos.
