Rebranding and Renovation

JefeBet published a press statement, which is accessible on the NewsDirect website, announcing an official groundbreaking ceremony at the former Lucky Club Casino and Hotel site in North Las Vegas. 

FSG CEO Seth Schorr, North Las Vegas Councilwoman Pamela Goynes-Brown, and a few Las Vegas Latino Chamber of Commerce representatives were present for the ceremony. Joining them was the new dining partner Ojos Locos, as the facility is now known as Ojos Locos Sports Cantina and Casino at Hotel Jefe.

Mr. Schorr calculated that “28% of Nevada and 18.7% of the United States identify as Latino,” emphasizing his desire for this “unique property” to meet the needs of this “huge, yet underserved demographic.” 

As part of the restoration, he added, the restaurant, sportsbook, and sports bar will all share “one layout” and be designed to serve the vast Latino and Hispanic communities in the area. This would be of great assistance in making Ojos Locos Sports Cantina and Casino at Hotel Jefe seem culturally like a home.

What Will Be Available

Rich Hicks, CEO of Ojos Locos, was quoted in the news release as noting that the cooperation between FSG and Ojos Locos Sports Cantina – the Dallas-based sports bar chain – is a significant component of this remodeling and rebranding, calling it a “extension of the company business foundation”. 

The Ojos Locos Sports Cantina y Casino at Hotel Jefe will feature a restaurant with a capacity of 250 people and a bar with a capacity of 40 people.

With the completion of the refurbishment and rebranding, the sports bar business will open its first site in Nevada. 

This is also the first time a company has launched a gaming and hospitality establishment specifically for the Latino market, but with FSG’s more than 15 years of experience in full-service hospitality and casino management, and now with the Ojos Locos partnership, the property’s hundreds of customers will undoubtedly be well taken care of.

In addition to renovating the restaurant and bar, a nightclub will also be added to the hotel’s entertainment options. Aside from that, the rooms will be renovated, and most importantly, more than 200 gaming machines will be installed on the casino’s floor. 

This would imply that the new strategy for the future of this operation is – broadly speaking – an upgrading on all fronts, with a focus on serving the beloved Latino and Hispanic communities.
