EveryMatrix Optimized Its Esports Solution While Sportsbooks Face Issues

As global sporting events are getting canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, sportsbooks are struggling to keep user attention intact. In the midst of this issue, EveryMatrix announced optimization to its esports solution.

Esports betting becomes easier

White label solutions firm and iGaming software provider EveryMatrix has enhanced its esports offering. It first ventured into space in 2019 via the OddsMatrix Sports Betting Software Solutions service. It is designed to help gambling operators start providing esports betting facilities on their platform. As regular sports betting is on the decline, esports betting could help operators recover some of their lost revenue.

At this moment, gambling operators are getting creative to keep their businesses running. They are now offering betting facilities on obscure events like Belarussian football or Japanese sumo wrestling, something that they had never done before. Of course, betting in these events is riskier than major sporting events. People with problem gambling issues are also finding new ways to gamble, some of whom may be inspired to go towards day trading or other forms of speculative investing.

What should operators expect?

The new enhanced OddsMatrix service comes with an esports Hosted Solution. The system will help operators add the esports betting solution directly into the tab or menu of their platforms. The hosting and management of this solution will be done by OddsMatrix. Interestingly, the solution will only take about two weeks to be integrated into the native sportsbook and mobile apps of the operators.

The offering will include wagering opportunities for 8,000+ events. About 5,000 of these events will also have live betting markets and over 90% will be available for live streams. Popular games available for betting include FIFA, NBA2K, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and League of Legends.

EveryMatrix Group CEO Ebbe Groes commented on the enhancement and said, “For esports, we’ve seen an enormous increase in turnover in the past weeks, and we’re expecting to see the numbers go up even more.” He said that esports betting will soon become a part of mainstream wagering and regular bettors will also start developing an interest in these events. The best crossover points would be popular sporting games like FIFA and NBA2K.

The firm is interested in virtual sports as well and has made these options available via Global Bet, NSoft, Leap Gaming, Golden Race, Kiron, and Betradar.
