MGM Resorts International and its sports betting joint venture BetMGM, recently announced a new partnership with the American Gaming Association (AGA), The new partnership will be in support of Responsible Gaming Education Week between September 14 and 19th.

“Have a Game Plan”

The mission for AGA’s Responsible Gaming Education Week “Have a Game Plan” which aims to educate new consumers and experienced bettors on responsible betting. BetMGM and MGM Resorts also announced today that Richard Taylor will be joining in the Responsible Gambling Program Manager.

Taylor will also lead to the evolution of the responsible gaming platform and build on user-friendly programs and building a practical way to encourage players and adopt healthier mindsets. This will help in reducing the risk of problem gambling. Taylor will also be working on the internal responsible gaming training program for BetMGM employees.

Taylor noted,

Taylor’s previous experience in the gambling industry

Taylor was most recently working with MGM as its Executive Director of Responsible Gaming and Military Affairs. In addition to working on helping strategic leadership and operational side of the company’s responsible gaming program called GameSense. Taylor was also responsible for the development, operation, and implementation of the award-winning Military & Veterans Program (MVP).

MGM Resorts and BetMGM will also work on important responsible gaming tips via its social media channels. They will continue to promote their responsible gaming education throughout the year. It provides useful information, resources, and tools to the users using its websites and apps.

Responsible gaming education is a key focus for both BetMGM and MGM Resorts as they continue to work on expanding their gaming platforms.
