It launched in Colorado recently, followed by Indiana. In a recent news release, Score Media founder and CEO John Levy noted, “Indiana is the first state we’ve launched in under our multistate market access agreement with Penn National Gaming and we’re excited to showcase our incredible and unique combination of media and gaming to this passionate fan base.” The Indiana sports betting market is highly competitive and lucrative. Its total sports handle witnessed a 138% month-on-month increase in the month of August. The sportsbook has a total sports handle of $169,018,238 in August while the total handle for July was just $70,876,622. The sports betting revenue in the state also increased by 47.7% from $6,658,465 in July to $9,934,881 in August. The Indiana sports betting market is growing On September 1, the state celebrated the first anniversary of its sports betting market with a total handle of over $1 billion in July. When the sports betting market officially opened last year, Eric Holcomb, the state’s governor, placed the first bet in the state. theScore Bet is firing on all cylinders to woo Indiana users. It is offering bettors a $100 Free Bet when they make their first wager. The users can also get up to $1,000 cashback on the bets placed in the first 60 days on the platform.
