September 2020 Post Views: 171 A new casino property in Downtown Las Vegas owned by Circa is looking to add hundreds of new workers on the payroll. The property has already added 1,100 workers to its goal of 1,500 new workers at the premises. The casino is scheduled for its debut on October 28 with the hotel area opening at a later date. Newly built resorts create 1,500 new jobs The newly built Circa property is set to create a total of 1,500 new jobs in the area of which 1,100 have already been filled. It is looking for 400 more people to fill positions at the premises. The gaming and hospitality industry of Las Vegas took a huge hit after the coronavirus pandemic hit the US and Governor Steve Sisolak ordered a shutdown of these properties in mid-March. Since then, several casinos have reopened but continue to struggle because of the pandemic. Lower air traffic and the rising number of coronavirus cases have broken revenue projections for these properties further. Circa owner Derek Stevens is concerned about the number of people who left Las Vegas after they were unable to find jobs in the city. He questioned if there were enough people in the city to help the company make the right decisions about hiring. Despite this shortfall, it was able to hire 1,100 people by mid-September. The positions range from lifeguards to casino dealers. Stevens noted that the company is running behind schedule in hiring and would add about 400 more people to the payroll. Circa’s newest hotel and casino The new Circa property will include 1,350 slot machines and 49 table games. It will come with 777 hotel rooms in a 35-storey hotel tower, complete with 60 suites inside. It will also come with 6 restaurants, 5 bars, and three-tiered Stadium Swim Aquatheater with 6 pools on the 5th floor. It will also come with a three-level sportsbook with 1,000 seats for views, radio booth for 3 simultaneous broadcasts, and VSiN sports betting television studio. The sportsbook will also feature a football contest with Circa branding. About sherlock Sherlock Gomes loves to write and express his views on anything related to Gaming, Gambling, & Casino.
