Game Account Network, Parx Casino strengthen partnership with new deal Lou De Aguila 10. February 2021 | UPDATED ON: 10. February 2021 Post Views: 111 Game Account Network (GAN) has further strengthened their partnership with Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment’s Parx Casino after recording a huge betting turnout at Super Bowl LV. GAN and Parx Casino Agreement According to reports, Parx Casino agrees to pay a total licensing fee of $3 million and implies a patent license of roughly $75 per reward card, which validates the ‘per unit’ value of the patent. The new contract with the Casino also frees GAN from exclusivity moving forward, allowing the group to link up with other casino operators. GAN has established a solid reputation for its success in supporting casinos by leveraging iBridge Integration Framework. The iBridge Integration Framework allows operators to automate marketing processes between the online and offline spaces. The goal of this technology is to bridge the internet gambling experience with that of retail gaming. iBridge enables active online gaming players to earn loyalty points in casinos. It means players will still enjoy perks and bonuses players earned through online casino gaming in an affiliated land-based casino. Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN, provides more details of the deal in the press release. “This is the second time GAN has licensed its patented iBridge Framework on a standalone basis and we believe the opportunity to leverage our intellectual property here in the US remains large. “We continue to be engaged in numerous conversations with both large and small casino operators to partner with GAN in order to seamlessly connect their loyal reward card carrying customers to their various online offerings. Super Bowl Effect The huge numbers Parx Casino recorded during Super Bowl week served as the major driving force why the property deepened its partnership with the service provider. GAN has recorded its technical performance for the weekend’s Super Bowl, registering over 14.6 million of bets settled online – which is a 186 per cent increase from last year. The firm has also secured $3 million in patent license revenue generated during the days leading up to the sporting event. “GAN delivered uninterrupted performance for all our US clients during Super Bowl LV, just as we did last year and the year before that. “Yesterday, we experienced record all-time transaction volumes before, during and after the Super Bowl and look forward to leveraging the experience, technical data and knowhow to prepare for next year’s technical onslaught which we expect will see Super Bowl betting on GAN’s Platform taking place across perhaps more than a dozen States simultaneously. “We’ve started the year with strong business and financial momentum and this patent licensing deal further validates our industry leading IP and sets a new bar for its value per reward card,” Smurfit stated in his report.
