PokerGo announces groundbreaking DFS collaboration with Caesars Entertainment

PokerGo announced Friday its groundbreaking venture with Caesars Entertainment, ushering in the arrival of SuperDraft’s daily fantasy sports content to the world of professional poker.

Daily Fantasy in Poker Tournaments

PokerGo’s collaboration with Caesars Entertainment will introduce a new segment for daily fantasy sports, wherein poker fans and players can participate in fantasy leagues and secure content for PokerGo tournaments on the SuperDraft platform.

The first of its kind, SuperDraft has developed a proprietary poker scoring system based on player performance and chip stacks. Now, every single piece of data on the performance of professional poker players at high-stake poker tournaments can contribute to someone’s daily fantasy standing.

PokerGo will roll out the new daily fantasy segment for poker tournaments at the US Poker Open on June 3. The poker operator also confirmed a free entry contest for a minimum prize pool of $10,000. All PokerGo subscribers are eligible to enter and win contests on the SuperDraft app for upcoming tournaments, including Poker Masters, Super High Roller Bowl, World Series Of Poker, and more.

Caesars added the daily fantasy sports vertical to its ever-growing casino empire last January, catapulting itself in competition with DraftKings and FanDuel for market share. The casino giant stressed the necessity to complement its gaming and mobile sports network led to the creation of its DFS outfit.

Moreover, the group added that the investment would only bolster customer acquisition pipeline and retention for both online and brick-and-mortar. Caesars took an initial minority equity position, with an option to increase its stake over time up to 100 percent at predetermined levels.
