Parimatch has added some punching power to its portfolio of sports celebrity endorsers. On Monday, September 20, the sports betting giants announced heavyweight title contender Oleksandr Usyk as the group’s first responsible gambling project ambassador. 

Boxing champ fights for responsible gaming

Oleksandr, Usyk, the former undisputed cruiserweight world champion, will try to spread the message of self-control and discipline through educational events backed by Parimatch.

The boxer’s intrinsic values resonate with the campaigns that Parimatch has launched over the years, particularly about teaching their sports betting customers the importance of responsible gaming.     

Usyk accepted the deal to become Parimatch’s responsible gaming ambassador just a few days ahead of his much-awaited showdown with Anthony Joshua on Saturday, 25 September, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 

The Limassol Cyrus-headquartered sportsbook has been on a signing spree as of late to bolster its presence in the sporting world. Just last week, the company landed a three-club agreement with top-flight clubs Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Southampton.
