The Asia-focused brand, which has sporting alliances with Premier League clubs Leicester City and Crystal Palace, will become the region’s official AFA sportsbook.

W88 continues by stating that it pursued this arrangement as part of its worldwide expansion strategy, with the engagement with the Argentine FA to reinforce its brand development in Asia.

The agreement covers the current calendar year, including the World Cup in Qatar, for which the two-time champions are one of several countries that have already qualified.

Claudio Tapia, president of AFA, explained: “Throughout these management years, we have developed a substantial expansion of our AFA brand into previously untapped markets, such as the Asian market.

“As a result of our work, we can develop partnerships such as this one with significant companies that have identified AFA as a vital partner for their marketing strategy in this critical region. I’d like to extend a warm welcome to W88 as a new sponsor of our national squad”.

“This new connection is fascinating for W88 and marks a significant milestone in our brand’s ability to accomplish some of our marketing objectives,” said Hilly Ehrlich, W88’s business development manager.

“We are a bold brand and are thrilled to have partnered with South America’s current champions. Being able to collaborate with arguably the world’s top player and squad demonstrates our goals, and partnering with one of the World Cup favorites is quite exciting.”

“Within the segmentation of our sponsorship platform, we are pleased to announce W88, a market leader in Asia, as a new regional sponsor of our national teams on that continent,” stated Leandro Petersen, AFA’s chief commercial and marketing officer.

“The global expansion process that we began four years ago is gaining momentum daily; we are increasing our Association’s revenue volume, generating new strategic alliances, and, most importantly, expanding business units with the goal of commercial diversification and economic soundness.

“2022 is going to be a fantastic year for AFA; our challenge is to use it to our advantage to develop.” Today, we begin our collaborative effort with W88, wishing them tremendous success.”
