PlayUp enters historic deal with Panther City Lacrosse Club

PlayUp has signed a “groundbreaking arrangement” with Panther City Lacrosse Club to become the team’s first sports betting partner.

PlayUp – Panther City Lacrosse Club Deal

The partnership dubbed the “biggest team sponsorship in NLL history,” will provide PlayUp with market access in the event that sports betting is legalized in Texas in the near future. This, however, is contingent upon Panther City Lacrosse Club obtaining a sports betting license and obtaining all necessary regulatory permissions.

Dennis Drazin, chair of PlayUp USA, remarked that Texas is a developing state in terms of sports betting and that if legalization occurs, they want to be prepared to capitalize on the opportunity. Moreover, they express excitement about this connection with Panther City since it provides PlayUp with an excellent opportunity to expand their brand and communicate directly with fans across the state.

Historic Feat for the company

Furthermore, the contract establishes the online betting and gaming service as a founding partner of Panther City and a fantasy sports and esports partner. The partnership marks PlayUp’s first in Texas and will feature promotional components to increase brand awareness among Texan sports enthusiasts.

It will include prominent logo placement on the Panther City shirt and branding opportunities on the team’s media banner background, team website, and commercial presence during locally televised games. Additionally, branding will be integrated into the stadium’s major entrances, on-field logos, and board signage during regular and postseason home games.
