BetMGM, the sports betting and online casino venture of Entain and MGM, has expanded its agreement with audio and entertainment firm Audacy’s BetQL, acquiring the exclusive rights to become the sportsbook for the company. Promotion of BetMGM’s Brand Across All BetQL Content

BetMGM has acquired exclusive rights to all BetQL programs. These include the very successful sports betting podcast “You Better You Bet,” whose presenters, Nick Kostos and Ken Barkley, are now BetMGM’s brand ambassadors.

In addition, BetQL is beginning to generate content exclusively for a handful of MGM Resorts in the United States, where viewers will have access to it in real time.

BetMGM’s chief revenue officer, Matt Prevost, applauded the newly expanded partnership with BetQL, stating in a press release that the company is excited to expand its strategic partnership with Audacy and to deliver market-leading sports betting and gaming entertainment content to millions of listeners across the entire BetQL Network platform.

BetMGM’s exclusive category rights also include “BetQL Daily,” “The Daily Tip,” and “BetMGM Tonight.” The collaboration between the two firms began in March 2021, when BetMGM became BetQL’s preferred partner for sports betting.

This exposed BetMGM’s sports betting material to BetQL’s growing audiences, who were listening to its programs, podcasts, and radio broadcasts.

BetQL Achieved Tremendous Success in Under One Year

Audacy launched BetQL Network in June 2021, when it covered just two markets. In January 2022, it has already expanded to more than 31 markets.

Since its introduction, the podcast’s popularity has climbed by 575 percent, the hours of live video seen by audiences have increased by 440 percent, and the total number of hours of material listened to by individuals has increased by 467 percent.

The network generates over 100 hours of original video every week, which is distributed via Audacy’s, BetQL’s, and YouTube’s platforms.

The programming is also accessible through the several radio stations owned by Audacy and other on-demand channels. Audacy is a significant producer and distributor of audio content across several platforms in the United States.

It boasts an audience of more than 200 million individuals that listen to a variety of music, news, and sports material. The firm owns 39 only-sport radio stations in the United States, which, together with its podcast and other live sports programming, positions it as the industry leader.
