Casino Jamul Announces San Diego Poker Classic Series

The poker tournament at Jamul Casino is dubbed the San Diego Poker Classic (SDPC). Its initial iteration will go through August 28, spanning eleven days. It will involve several challenges and provide thrilling rewards to the finest poker players. The SDPC Main Event will begin on August 23 and continue until the conclusion of the tournament. 

To enter the event, poker aficionados may either pay $600 or attempt to qualify using satellite tables. At the satellite tables, for $85 a player has a 1/10 chance of qualifying for the main event. 

Alternatively, they may spend $145 to increase their odds by double. The Main Event will include a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000 and will give poker players an exciting opportunity to compete. In addition, there will be 14 trophy events that guests to Jamul Casino may participate in. 

One of them will be a weekend opening with a prize pool of $50,000. In contrast, the next week will include a women-only poker tournament for female poker fans.

Rochfort Wishes Players Good Fortune

Jamul Indian Village owns and operates the Jamul Casino. RunGood Events, a respected local event organizer, co-hosts the SDPC. 

Through the new poker series, Jamul Casino intends to establish itself as San Diego’s premier gaming destination. According to the property’s plans, the SDPC will become a quarterly event and will be held every three months. After the current event in August, Jamul Casino will organize a second tournament in November.

John Rochfort, the manager of poker at the Jamul Casino, discussed the new project. He said that Jamul Casino anticipates hundreds of participants for the first San Diego Poker Classic. 

Although the SDPC is now underway, the Main Event is yet to commence. Registration for the first San Diego Poker Classic is available at Jamul Casino for poker fans. The tournament will take place in the Poker Room and Jive Lounge of the Jamul Casino.
