Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime

Content that captivates TNF viewers

The multi-year collaboration between DraftKings and Amazon will result in the delivery of entertaining content and exclusive betting offers to football fans before every Thursday game throughout the NFL season, beginning on September 15. 

DraftKings’ chief marketing officer, Stephanie Sherman, acknowledged the “tremendous opportunity” to partner with “one of the world’s biggest technology brands” and “provide compelling content” to TNF viewers, and described the NFL season as “the busiest time of year” for the company’s clients.

Danielle Carney, head of NFL sales at Amazon Ads, was “thrilled to collaborate with DraftKings” and offer sports fans “insights and entertainment as part of the TNF viewing experience.” Carney is confident that the addition of DraftKings will add value to pregame discussions, fan engagement, and game predictions made by the host team.

Same-Game Parlays with a TNF Theme

The collaboration will feature DraftKings integrations in the form of sports betting insights and betting odds in the live pregame, while Amazon will collaborate with DraftKings on TNF-themed offerings such as same-game parlays, which will be available to bettors through the DraftKings Sportsbook app.

Beginning this Thursday, when the Los Angeles Chargers take on the Kansas City Chiefs, DraftKings programming will air during all 15 NFL games covered by TNF in 2022. 

The TNF on Prime Video sponsorship is the most recent sports relationship for the Boston-based sports betting and daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator, which is already an official DFS and sports betting partner of the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA TOUR, and UFC, and an official DFS partner of NASCAR.

DraftKings announced a new advertising campaign in September as part of their commitment to encouraging responsible gaming and to coincide with the American Gaming Association’s Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM). 

The Practice Safe Bets advertising campaign, which was introduced last week and features famed skateboarder Tony Hawk and professional wrestler The Miz, aims to engage gamers in an entertaining and informative manner and educate them to wager properly.
