Fans Can Enjoy Expanded Features and New Design

The new NBA app, which is built on Microsoft and AI technology, intends to become the company’s online flagship and a natural gathering place for all of its global fans. 

The new design, which emphasizes interactable vertical content, is very similar to those of social media platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram. The NBA wants to reach out to its global fan base on Instagram, which has over 71 million followers and persuade them to switch to its own app. 

If successful, the NBA will be able to promote NBA TV and the premium streaming service NBA League Pass without any interruptions.

The most recent version of the NBA’s digital platform, according to executive VP Chris Benyarko, is a big step in the league’s efforts to increase fan interaction with fresh and interesting content. 

NBA fans using the new app will have access to news, documentaries, behind-the-scenes film, and an outstanding library of historical footage in addition to a wide variety of Live programming.

Wagering Content Draws More Attention

One of the main focuses of the new app is now sports betting as well. Overall, the new NBA App appears to be jam-packed with innovative features designed to grow the league’s fanbase and employ monetization strategies that don’t interfere from the user experience. 

It will be interesting to see if the extra bells and whistles will draw enough people away from traditional social media platforms where they can peruse all of their interests from a single app. If the NBA is successful in that endeavor, other prestigious leagues may follow suit.
