Golden Nugget Casino will continue to enjoy a prolific partnership with Scientific Games. On Wednesday, October 13, it launched its OpenBet sports technology in New Jersey and Virginia with the US-based casino operator.

Golden Nugget Casino taps SG’s OpenBet

GNOG unveiled the expansion of its longstanding tie-up with Scientific Games this week, which will see the latter’s OpenBet sports technology power its operations in New Jersey and Virginia. 

The gambling products and services provider will also integrate GNOG’s sports betting and iGaming products into its OpenGaming platform in West Virginia.

These projects with Scientific Games will allow the Las Vegas-headquartered gaming operator to speed up its growth across the United States’ sports betting and iGaming space. 

Golden Nugget will utilize SG’s digital sports betting technology to launch its new online and mobile sportsbook products in Virginia and West Virginia. 

The operator will also leverage its partner’s OpenGaming platform for its online casino operations in West Virginia. It will provide customers in the state a wide selection of iGaming content from Scientific Games’ in-house studios and third-party providers.

This succession of launches came several months after Scientific Games helped Golden Nugget deliver its new mobile sportsbook in New Jersey using the same OpenBet tech and content. Moreover, SG unveiled plans to lend its state-of-the-art retail solutions to GNOG’s hotel and resort in Atlantic City.
