The Pointsbet Sportsbook is on the second floor of the building.

An “immersive online and in-person betting experience” is what gamblers in the Villa Park region can expect from the PointsBet Retail Sportsbook, which was developed specifically for them. The retail Sportsbook will be housed within the Crazy Pour Sports Bar at Club Hawthorne. 

This bar and restaurant is 15,000 square feet and offers full service. It has more than 160 high-definition televisions, including a 26-foot-wide HD display, five 160-inch jumbo displays, an LED sports ticker, a private party and VIP room, and a fully covered heated patio.

Providing the Upcoming and New Generation of Sport Betting 

The sports and horse betting pub with a capacity of 400 people is already “a recognized suburban destination for watching major sports,” including football bowl games, NCAA basketball games, UFC bouts, and the Kentucky Derby. Other notable sporting events shown there include UFC fights.

According to Tim Carey, the Chief Executive Officer of Hawthorne Race Course, there is nowhere else in the Chicago metropolitan area where you can place bets on sports, wager on horse races, and play video slot machines. 

Club Hawthorne betting bars are the only ones that provide everything. The organization is working to provide the upcoming generation of sports fans with an integrated on-site entertainment experience that will include fantastic food and beverages as well as exceptional service.

Sports Betting Establishment Detailed 

Bettors at sporting events have the option of placing cash wagers with a teller at one of three betting windows or at one of eight self-service kiosks. 

Customers will also have access to Crazy Pour’s selection of alcoholic beverages and food, which includes more than 150 different kinds of whiskey, seasonal craft beers, pizzas, burgers, “The Legendary Beef Roll,” and a variety of other alternatives.

In the PointsBet Retail Sportsbook, wagering on sporting events is possible Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on the weekends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

Horse racing wagering is open every day, beginning at 10 am and continuing until 10 pm, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays until 11 pm.

The announcement comes only a few days after the firm revealed that it would be expanding its original programming lineup to include a new show called Count It, which will feature content related to sports betting and focus on the NBA and college basketball. 

Countdown airs four times weekly on YouTube and other podcast platforms, with targeted social media and PointsBet app distribution. Current MSG Networks on-air star Kazeem Famuyide will host the show from the PointsBet Studio in New York City.
